So yeah, ignore the title, I was just feeling random and, well, I thought most of my previous titles for posts were extremely simple and boring.
Right, so there are a few things I wanted to talk about today…
1) Films!
So I’ve watched several films recently and felt I should share my opinions about them with you!
Transformers – the most incredibly action packed mech-fest ever!! I loved every single moment of the robots on screen, but could care a lot less about the humans, especially the drugged-up mother and the annoying screaming computer nerd room mate of Shia’s character. Optimus kicked ass. Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave were amazing, and Jetfire and The Fallen were both brilliant as well. I just hope they kick even more ass with number 3 by introducing Unicron. Then my life would be complete. Note to Paramount: Please Remove All Humans from Transformers 3, kthanks.
Terminator Salvation – apart from the brilliant action sequences and the Arnie CGI cameo at the end and the evil Helena Bonham-Carter head, the film was pretty weak, as far as story goes. The budget of this film should have gone on creating another two kickass seasons of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, or at least made a film with those characters. Watching Salvation, I was expecting John Connor to come running out of the shadows in a batman costume. Bale does the grim, grumpy loner bit too much. It works for Batman, not sure it was completely justified for the John Connor character.
Drag Me To Hell – MAKE MORE HORROR LIKE THIS!! I like gorenography as much as the next person, but sometimes you want good old fashioned ‘BOO!‘ in your horror films, there’s only so much limb dismemberment and hack and slash you can watch before you think, “That’s going to stain. Somebody should put some lemon juice on that!”
Gran Torino – a very heart-warming and touching film, I think it should be an educational video for the elderly. Apart from the owning several guns bit.

3) Still no word from Virgin Media Shorts comp.
4) Submitting my application for film school on Monday. Fingers crossed!!
5) I gots some emotional turmoil going on in my head, not sure I should really go into it on here….maybe one day.
